Abstract Submission Guidelines
1) Only one first-author submission per person is permitted.
Only abstracts that have not been submitted at another conference are permitted.

2) Abstract preparation:
Abstracts must be written in English and checked by a native speaker.
The title must be 100 characters or fewer.
The abstract must be 1,600 characters or fewer (text only, no figures/tables).
No more than 20 authors from no more than 10 institutions are permitted for each abstract.

(1) Enter author name(s), affiliation(s), title, and abstract in English.
(2) Be sure you have completed all items on this checklist:
Include Objectives, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections.
Include ethical approval or ethical considerations (except for literature reviews).
Complete the Conflict of Interest checklist.
4) Registration and payment
For co-authors: If you are planning to attend the conference, you also need to register. You are expected to go to registration/payment page without submitting the abstract.
If you are applying as an exchange student, attach a valid student ID.
If you are applying as a non-Japanese with residency outside Japan, attach a copy of the photo page of your passport. Please pay your registration fee with Paypal or Credit card from Registration button below.
Japanese JANS members
Japanese JANS members need to go to the main Japanese registration page to register and submit abstracts for the English session.Exchange students and Non-Japanese residing outside Japan
For first authors: After submitting your abstract, you need to register and make a payment for the conference.For co-authors: If you are planning to attend the conference, you also need to register. You are expected to go to registration/payment page without submitting the abstract.

5) Qualification requirements
Only for English Session, exchange students and non-Japanese residing outside Japan can register even if they are non-members. However, if they are Japanese, they need to be a member of Japan Academy of Nursing Science. If some registered members are Japanese non-members, they are required to send an application form to become a new member according to the membership admission procedure on the website of Japan Academy of Nursing Science. If their application procedures have not been completed by Wednesday May 19 2021, their abstract registrations may be cancelled. In addition, they have not paid their membership fee by the deadline, they will be considered as non-members and automatically excluded from speakers.

Information for Presenters
1) Presentations are 8 minutes, plus 2 minutes for Q&A.
2) The slide immediately following the title slide must be a Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure. This information is required for the first author only. There are two possible formats as follows:
